Mt. Maunganui Cricket Club Twilight Competition Rules.

All normal rules of cricket apply with the following exceptions, with the following exceptions.
1:- All overs to have 6 legal balls bowled.
2:- All incoming batsmen get a free ball.
If batsmen is dismissed on the first ball he faces, he is not out and any run attempted at time of
dismissal is void.
3:- Wides :- No run & extra ball to be bowled
Exception to this, is were batting side wish to run the wide bowled.
For run to be scored batter must have attempted to play the ball.
If run scored extra ball is forfeited.
Wide ball does not count for free ball, unless run taken.
4:- No balls (Ball bowled above waist height on full, or bounces over shoulder height of the
batter). :- No run & extra ball to be bowled.
Exception to this, is were batting side wish to run the no ball. either as byes or off the bat. As
per wides if run scored extra ball is forfeited.
5:- Byes can only be taken if shot played.
6:- No L.B.W.s
7:- Stumpings as per the rules of cricket.
8:- Wicket keeper to stand no more 3 steps from behind the stumps.
9:- Bowlers run up to be started within the wicket keepers mark.
10:-Batter must retire at 25+ runs, May come back in when all other later batters have either been dismissed or have
retired. Retiring before 25+ unless injured is loss of wicket.
11- All score sheets are to be returned to the clubrooms. And gear bins to be returned to the
changing rooms.
12 :- A team short a player forfeits the wicket and batting team elects player to bowl extra
overs after all players have bowled out there overs.
13 :- No glass drinking vessels to be taken on to the fields at all times.
